Disk related errors

Hi,

We are running VS 2005. At least four times over the past month or so we
have had the VMs stop running. The VS error logs say that it is a
disk-related error. Most of the VMs stop running and don't restart (I have
them set to automatically restart) Here is the order of events logged:

event ID 1025
The setting "hardware/bios/time_bytes" for the virtual machine configuration
"VM1" was changed.

event ID 1033
"VM1" was reset.

event ID 1062
"VM1" could not be started because a disk-related error occurred.

It then proceeds to log the same thing for most of the VMs. It is only
logged under Virtual Server in Event Viewer. Nothing is logged for the host
machine or on the disk array. The .vhd files are stored on a RAID5 array.
I have checked the drives and there is nothing wrong with them.

When you go to the Virtual Server Administration site and click on the
thumbnail the VM will start up again within 1-3 tries. They will run for
days without a problem. Then the same thing will happen again. Has anybody
had this problem or know of anything that might be causing this?

Thank you,

Rick Barber
