Can"t add user to Guest OS for Active Directory

Source: microsoft.public.virtualserver

Message:

Running Win2003Ent Server as a guest on a host Win2003Ent server.

Host can easily add users via the User/Group admin panel in Manage Computer.

Guest struggled to add Domain\Admin users and can't see any other "location"
for users other than the the location for the virtual machine name <machine
name>.

Typing in the fully qualified user (either <domain>\<user> or <user>@<fully
domain name>) doesn't work - says can't find user.

Running SharePoint on the Guest OS. Can hit the Guest OS Web Pages, etc.

In Sharepoint was able to do a full import of users from Active Directory -
but add a user from active directory - no.

Thought I'd done all the right settings....
