Hi,

My guest operating system and my host server are both Windows 2003-Servers.
On my host server a SUS Server is installed. It worked fine, until I switched
the download path for Windows upddates to my host server on my guest server.

When the guest server is downloading windows updates the network link on the
host server is turing on and off for every 1 or 2 seconds. While the network
link is down, I can not ping the guest pc.

The virtual adapter is linked to the physical adapter.

Does anyone know a reason for this behavoir?

You should try disabling any offloading features on the host network
adapter.

I didnâ€™t here about "offloading features" bevore. But Iâ€™m sure I will find
something on google. I will try this next Monday, and post about the results.
