how about xp vm that is primarily used in rdp setting? would there still be
more beneficial to use scsi drive connection along with vmadditions?

The VMs with scsi attached VHD seem to be more responsive than previously
with similar hardware IDE attached VHD under W2008;
definitely a lot better than vpc2007 hosted by xp on the same hardware.
