Problems after installation of VS2005R2 SP1 on W2008/64bit

Hi,

I installed the current VS2005R2 SP1 on a brand new W2008/64bit Server.
After the installation I cannot login with my domain credentials, only via
local administrator account.
When trying with domain account the system tells me that the password is
wrong (but it is not).
I could recreate this behavior on a 2nd 64Bit System as well.

I also installed the update KB948515 that enables Virtual Server to be
installed on W2008 Servers.

Can anybody give me a hint?

My suggestion is to completely skip the admin website and use the
config *application* VMRC+ instead! I could not use the admin website
on my server because of no IIS (I run Apache) so I installed VS2005
*without* the website part and instead use VMRC+ to handle the guests.
This work very well indeed!
VMRC+ can be downloaded from Microsoft too.
