I've got win2008 x64 standard on a server with 2 imbedded NICs that are,
currently, teamed for failover. When I created the virtual network Hyper-V
Mgr said something about not using the NIC the host server uses. What's the
recommended configuration here; un-team the NICs and use 1 for the VM host &
1 for the virtual network & any VMs?

Let me add that I'm 99% sure the recommended configuration is 1 NIC for the
VM host & 1 for the virtual network. Can you point to a recommendation for
the IP config on them? I assume for the physical NIC is works as normal;
static IP, mask, gateway, DNS. But on the one for the VMs is a static IP +
mask sufficient?
