Hi there, I'm new to the Virtual Server thing, and am really struggling even
getting started.
My physical computer is XP and is called "betamachine", however when I try
and access the Virtual Server Admin Site which should be
http://betamachine/VirtualServer/VSWebApp.exe?view=1 it doesn't let me
becuase its not even there, AND it tries to get me to connect to the
Internet!
I have no idea how to actually get Windows Server 2003 running on the
Virtual Server; I have a virtual hard drive etc. with it all setup on, but
have no idea how to get it working!

I am desperate to start testing, but have no idea how to get the damn thing
to work! All the .exe files in the %programfiles% folder where it's
installed, I have tried opening them but nothing! I keep going round in
circles in the bloody help file! Please help!!

How did you install Windows 2003 if you can't access the admin site?

This makes no sense. You need to install Windows just like you would
on a real machine.

Since you're using the beta of Virtual Server you may want to address
future questions to the beta newsgroups, no?

Machine on Windows XP. If this is the case then the web site would be.

http://virtualserver:1024 Provided that the virtual server has a
network connection - test by pinging it.
