VSMT Migration

Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding the use of the VSMT and ADS (both of which
I'm new to).

I'm working in a Windows 2003 AD Domain, with pre-existing DHCP servers. I
have setup VS2005 on a new Windows 2003 Server installation, and have
installed VSMT and ADS on the same server.

1. Does the ADS Server need to be authorized in the Domain as a DHCP server?
2. Does the ADS Server (or VSMT) need to be co-located with a DHCP server?
I've found docs on how to run ADS + DHCP on the same box, but I want to leave
the DHCP servers untouched, if possible.

I have XP, 2003, and 2000 Server setup as virtual machines right now, and I
haven't had any problems, but I have a test server setup for P2V migration
(Windows 2000 Server on a Dell GX400) and booting a RBFG disk just hangs at
boot (not able to find DHCP server). Hopefull I just need to update the BIOS
come Monday morning.

Thanks in advance,

Tony
Thanks
