MSVMM Migration feature does not work

Message:

First of all - I apologize if i have this post in the wrong area; I couldn't
find an area that was dedicated to MSVMM.

We have 2 Host parent servers each running virtual guests servers (Host-01 &
Host-02). The Parents are 2008 ent x64 and all virtual guest servers are 2003
x32 R2 standard Edition.

The VMM is located on Host-02. We wanted to move our voicemail server over
from our Primary parent host (Host-01) to our Secondary parent host
(Host-02). Pretty simple so far!

WE used the Migration tool inside of VMM to try and migrate this server over
from Host-01 to Host-02 and it failed at 37%. The error talks about the VMM
Agent and WS Management (services) being installed and running on host-02 -
but they are.

I know you Guru's are sticklers about errors so here is what it says:

Error (2912)
An internal error has occurred trying to contact an agent on the
CT-HOST-02.SevernRiverCapital.local server.
(Element not found (0x80070490))

Recommended Action
Ensure the agent is installed and running. Ensure the WS-Management service
is installed and running, then restart the agent.

Also I tried migrating it to CT-DPM-02. Did not work either. Error is
strange since error is on CT-HOST-02. So it looks like it may be associated
with the VMM on HOST-02 as opposed to a problem on CT-DPM-02

Error (2912)
An internal error has occurred trying to contact an agent on the
CT-HOST-02.SevernRiverCapital.local server.
(Element not found (0x80070490))

Recommended Action
Ensure the agent is installed and running. Ensure the WS-Management service
is installed and running, then restart the agent.

So I did a little research and came up with this:

http://fawzi.wordpress.com/2008/09/22/scvmm-2008-beta-error-2912-the-server-threw-an-exception-0x80010105/

talks about this but is says it is for the beta version and will be fixed in
oct 5 release.

somewhat related
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3878766&SiteID=17

So the bottom line is the Migration fails when moving a virtual guest from
one Host to another Host using MSVMM.

Can someone please help me!
Thx - John
