Creating a second IDE drive in SCVMM 2007

Message:

I just configured a new Windows 2003 64BIT server running Virtual Server R2
SP1. It is a dual quad core Xeon with 16GB RAM. I was creating a new VM and
when trying to add a second IDE drive of 300GB, the entry keeps reverting
back to 127GB.

I have a VM on another host that although it was created a while back, I
created a second drive on it of 300GB without any issues.

Another issue I ran into when converting physical servers using P2V the VM's
do not show any netwokr connections although they run fine and connect to
everything they are supposed to. P2V conversions do have flaws with hardware
after conversions, but this is not the case with all the VM's only a couple
out of the seven I converted.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
