Hello Everyone,

Does anyone knows some tips that proved to improve Hyper-V performance? Like
disk performance I/O, CPU, etc...

I already have 2 Hyper-V installed but I would like to know if there's
something that I can do to improve performance on these servers. I did some
tests in another vendor Virtual solution with the same hardware and
configuration, those tests show me better performance vs Hyper-V. I think
that is possible to Hyper-V perform better.

Anyone with some tips?

Use fixed size virtual disks, created on a well defragmented disk array.
Use wide disk arrays (8x 72GB is a LOT better than 2x300 GB)
Use SAS or SCSI disks
Allocate a minimum of one physical NIC per VM plus one for managing the
parent
Use synthetic NICs instead of the "Legacy" emulated one for all VM operating
systems that support it.
