I need to be able to manage a Hyper-V installation form a Windows 2008
web server. Does anyone know how I can install the Hyper-V Manager. I
can't add Hyper-V as a role because web edition doesn't come with
Hyper-V and it won't let me install the Vista MMC snap in.

You can't do it. The Web Edition has a VERY limited EULA, which this would
violate, and more to the point, many things are technically blocked,
including Hyper-V.
