If this is on the deploy, are you using the inserted virtual floppy disk?
If you are, remove it. I have many instances where the virtual floppy disk
that is supposed to setup the networking fails. The bios supports PXE
booting in the virtual guest. We finally created a standard script that
remarked that section out on the create and deploy stages.
