Monitoring

Hello everyone,

-I was given 8 physical machines with windows virtual server 2005 and R2.
Each physical server has some virtual machines inside.
-My job is to monitor and find out what machines are being used and what
machines can be shutdown, additionally monitoring the machines that are more
intensive (CPU, Disk, Network and memory).
-I thought in a monitoring solution, but I found out that this can only be
made with WMI scripts... Can anyone help me with a sample script or have any
other solution to this problem?
-I know that MOM or virtual center could be a solution, but for the moment
that's something that we can't afford.

Best regards.
