GPO set to auto install updates, some Virtual Servers hang at rebo

Message:

I have a GPO set to auto install updates on virtual servers (and all
workstations)..

The problem is.. every now and then when the user isnt logged in (admin),
the virtual server will auto restart, since the setting for disabling auto
restart only applies if logged in..

For some reason they will "stick" at the shutting down window.. but once you
connect with the virtual server client window.. they continue and finish
their reboot..

This is problematic as i dont know when they are in this state..

I could move them into a seperate OU and change to notify for the install,
but due to the number of servers i'd rather not..

Does anyone know of a fix for this issue (maybe Hyper-V will eliminate the
issue?).. Has anyone run into this?

Thanks
