Fallback / Migrate guest from Hyper-V to virtual server/pc

Message:

We are evaluating hyper-v for various purposes. Have found a lot of
information how to migrate virtual server or virtual pc VM's (guest
machines) to hyper-v, but not the other way.

For example, when migrating an Exchange or SMS server from virtual server to
hyper-v and then you discover a few days later that it does not run as it
should, is there a way (or a link to a description from Microsoft) to
migrate these VM's back to the virtual server? We also have VM's for
customer remote support that normally run in the company, but we have to be
able to take these VM's to our notebooks when we are abroad.

Thank you all in advance for any tip!
Franz
