hyper-v no authority could be contacted for authentication

Message:

In the Hyper-V Manager console I was attempting to open a Virtual Machine
Connection window on my Vista (32-bit) workstation that has the SP1
Management Pack. When I am in the console I can see that the virtual machine
that I am attempting to connect to is running and online. I can even connect
to this Server 2003 virtual machine through Remote Desktop without any
problem. The Hyper-V host server has also just been recently upgraded to the
RTM version of Hyper-V.

In the Hyper-V settings I have also unselected the "use the default
credentials" option so that when I attempt to connect to a virtual machine
from the console it always asks for credentials. The account that I am using
is a domain administrator. After I select the virtual machine I go to the
actions pane and click on the "connect" button. I enter my domain
administrator credentials and then a message box pops up stating the
following:

"No authority could be contacted for authentication. For assistance,
contact your system administrator or technical support"

Has anyone seen this before and if so what is the resolution. Please help.
