Problem with dynamic disks on SCSI

Hi,

I just installed the rtm of Hyper-V and was converting a few test machines
from virtual server 2005.
Some of these machines have extra disks that are dynamic disks inside the
client machine. It seems that if these are attached to a SCSI controller
they don't mount at boot time. After booting they are Off Line in disk
management. We can then reactivate them and they work fine, but after a
reboot they come off line again.
The guest OS is Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2.
If we attach the disks to an IDE controller they work fine. Also if we
attach basic disks they work fine.

Yes, they are installed.
I think the problem has to do with when the SCSI controller driver is
loaded.
The problem I experience is described in KB244550 where they talk about
changing the controller load time to boot instead of system, but I haven't
tried that (I don't like messing around with these values since the driver
writer may have a good reason to only start later).
