when installing the virtual server 2005 r2 sp1 on my vista ultimate 64 sp1
machine, the "Configure Components" says "the installed version of IIS does
not allow multiple web sites. The virtual server adminstration web site will
be added as a virtual directory under the default site."

It doesn't allow me to change the port number.

can someone help me out?

That's a limitation of Vista. (And XP, for that matter.) You can only have a
single web site. If you want more, you have to use Windows Server.

cause i think vista ultimate allow people create multiple web site. I just

I would have to agree with Paul - ask the author of the article, since it's
not my experience or understanding. Client versions of Windows are limited
to a single site. You can (and I have) run VS on them, but you don't have an
option to run multiple sites at multiple ports, IME.
