Thanks for the reference but isn't there a way to do this without adding
another server?
I have started and done the following:
1. installed VS 2005 on a Win2003 member server without the admin website.
2. Delegated for services cifs and vssrv between the server with the admin
website and the new server with Vs.
3. Added the new server to the search path in the admin website.
But it will not connect.
Is there something I need to do to the new VS install to get it to connect
to the admin website?

I run Apache so I could not utilize the website, but I am quite happy
with the VMRC+ application for handling my VS installation.
VMRC+ is available as download from Microsoft.

Message:System Center Virtual Machine Manager is better, but the web console is
free. Did you remember to choose a custom install for Virtual Server 2005
and choosing the delegated radio button? You will need to do this for all
installs you want to delegate together.
