Hi,
i upgraded on of our virtual servers to 2005 r2 SP1 today and all
the servers are working fine - but ofcourse the additions are out of
date.

on 4 of the servers, they upgraded fine, on another 4 (on the same
server) im getting

Error 1714. the older version of virtual machine additions cannot be
removed. Contact your technical support group.

I realise i can just plug in the old vmadditions msi, but is there
another, better way around this ?
