I have Terminal Server running in a virtual machine hosted by SBS 2003. My
customer rebooted after installing updates to SBS (not SP2). TServer seems to
be running according to the management console. When I try to log in I get an
error.
The system cannot log you on due to the following error: Insufficient system
resources exist to complete the requested service. I need to get this back
online ASAP. Short of reinstalling, is there anything else that I might do to
recover? I have downloaded Virtual Server 2005 R2 RC. What about installing
the RC update to see if that fixes it?

Ben,
I don't know why this happened and don't know how to fix it, but I found a
work around. I used the VM console and selected Turn Off VM, then I selected
Turn on VM. I did not save state. After doing this I was able to log in with
no trouble. I next logged in remotely using the TS client and everything
seems normal. This is a production server, so the goal was to get it back up
ASAP. If you want them i can send you the event logs that may indicate what
happened.
