I was trying to ascertain which versions of Virtual PC one needs to
use on a Mac G5?

Does it have to be version 7?

How much do any of the versions cost?

I couldn't find a price quote on the MS site for any version of
Virtual PC.

Yes.

Per amazon.com
VPC7 full version, no Windows $115
VPC7+XP home $195
VPC7+XP Pro $223
VPC7 Upgrade $92

For the full version without Windows, you will need to supply your own
copy of Windows. The upgrade version of VPC7 requires a previous
version.

MS doesn't sell to the end-user directly.

You should also be able to get VPC7 from any store or shop that sells
Mac software, or via eBay.
