Virtual PC cannot see network cards (Virtual Server Too)

Message:

I have a new HP DC7900 running Vista Business 32bit. Having installed Virtual
Server 2005 R2 SP1, no network cards were detected by the host install and
only Guest Only was offered. I have since uninstalled Virtual Server and
installed Virtual PC 2007 SP1. On running VPC I get the Virtual PC could not
open the Virtual Machine Network Services driver.

Right clicking on the Virtual Machine Network Services in the Network
Adapters properties display a blank dialog with titles for driver, etc
followed by just a colon.

I have gone through various suggestions based on the posts around the net
such as http://rextang.net/blogs/work/archive/2007/03/20/4620.aspx, but this
still results in the same problem.

The Network Card is an integrated Intel 82567LM Gigabit which has also had
the drivers updated to the latest version. TCP Offload, in fact and
offloading and I have dropped the speed to 100mbps.

Any ideas/experience out there?

Anthony
