Hi all,

I am running Virtual PC 6.0.192 and have just finished configuring a
Windows XP Pro SP1a (German localization) machine for QA. The problem
I am encounter is that while the video drivers installed properly, the
system does not release the mouse at the screen edges like it does in
all my other VMs. Anyone else have this problem, or know of a
solution?

??? You installed the VMWare Additions on a VPC virtual machine...???

I would say that your only hope is to see if you can uninstall them cleanly
and then install the correct VM Additions - the VM Additions and their
VMWare equivalent (aka VMWare Tools) are not the same thing...

To be honest, I'd probably trash the VM and start again...

Ah, shoot. I'm used to using VMWare, so typed that instead of "Virtual
PC Additions". Bob's advice did the trick - I had to have SP2
installed before I was able to properly install the VPC Additions.

Now I just have to get the VM to activate.... *laughs*
