Virtual PC causes KVM to switch

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

From: Doug P
Message:

I have a 2-port KVM for 2 computers and I use Virtual PC 2007 on one of them.
There are situations where Virtual PC triggers my KVM to switch to the second
computer. The trigger to switch the KVM is pressing scroll lock twice so I
guess there is something happening in Virtual PC which is simulating this.
Starting up a new Virtual machine will do this. Going into a running virtual
machine and switching to another application within 1 or 2 seconds will also
do this. (As if scroll lock is triggered when entering and leaving VPC.)
There are some other things which will trigger it also.
It's not a big problem. It's just a little annoying because it disables the
keyboard and mouse for a few seconds. I have to press the button on the KVM
to switch it back and wait for the keyboard and mouse to be reenabled. I have
sort of learned not to go in and out of virtual machines quickly but it still
happens often enough to be an annoyance.
Does anyone know a way around this or do I have to live with it?
