Virtual PC 2007 and Keyboard Fault

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc
Sent: 01/13/2009
From: "John Whitworth" <(email address - cut out)>
Message:

I have an issue which is not always present, but it only ever occurs when
Virtual PC is running. Host OS is Vista Ultimate x86. Guest OS is XP Pro
x86.

Basically, sometimes, when Virtual PC is running, I type something in either
the guest or the host OS, and instead of the letters I am typing, I get
random things opening up. I think it's basically performing keyboard
shortcuts instead of just plain lower/upper case text. My usual 'fix' is to
randomly hammer the Ctrl, Windows and Alt keys on either side, until such
time as my text enters correctly again.

It's really annoying though, and the 'fix' doesn't always work. Any
suggestions as to a fix? I am using MS Wireless Desktop 5000, though it did
it with my old MS Office Keyboard too, so I don't believe it's that, as the
drivers were updated several versions when I replaced the keyboard/mouse.

Thanks

John
