Installing Linux Ubuntu

I've create a new virtual machine to install a Linux SO. Once the virtual
machine have been created, I've mapped the cd-rom to the ISO image of Ubuntu.
When I try to run the live cd or intall de SO, an unrecoverable error from
processor is given.

I'll try it to install it from cd instead of its ISO image. I hope it works.
However wanted to leave the message here, just in case, it is a bug.

However running Ubuntu in VPC2007 makes it impossible to get
integration working since the Linux virtual machine additions are not
available for VPC2007 and the ones for VS2005 are a royal pain to
install.
Better solution:

1) Get VMWare Player from VMWare
2) Download the already installed "virtual application" for Ubuntu
(link at VMWare).

This installation already has the VMWare tools installed (equivalent
to the additions) so you don't need to bother.
And the VMWare Player supports handling of USB devices! :-)
