My question is pretty much in the title...

My host is a XP Pro and I`ve the same os running as a virtual one. For
testing purposes.

Currently the lan connection for virtual pc is disconnected.

And the answer is no.

If you consider your virtual machine(s) to be identical in every way to your
physical machine(s), which they are as far as the software running on them
is concerned, you'll not go far wrong...
