Networking Virtual PC and Virtual Server

Hi guys,

Just a quick question that i'm sure you'll be able to help me out with.

I have created a Windows 2003 Enterprise server on my Virtual Server 2005,
made it the DC and DHCP Server and then created a virtual network via the web
admin page.

Then I created an XP virtual PC via Virtual PC 2007. I set the LAN to Local
and booted up. The Virtual PC can not see the Virtual Server at all, doesn't
matter if i set the addresses manually or leave them as DHCP.

I presume that the problem is that the Virtual PC doesn't know where the
Virtual network settings are that Virtual server set up. How do I resolve
this.

It is very important that neither the server or the pc are able to see the
outside world, i can not allow them to interact with anything outside this
virtual enviroment.

Any ideas?

If you are running both VMs on the same system, you should run both of
them in the same product to have them communicate without extra work.

I actually ending up doing just that before i read your reply. I just copied
the .vmc files from Virtual PC into Virtual Servers folder and it all worked.
