Virtual XP on Vista host won"t DHCP

Message:

We just moved our office, and at the new office, in the new network,
my XP virtual PCs will not DHCP when I pick the laptop's network card
from the network options. NAT works, but that breaks some VPN
connections I need from the VPCs. Instead of a DHCP address, I end up
with an autoconfig 169.254.x.x address.

This is a problem for others in the office using Vista hosts for XP
VPCs as well, but those running XP hosts are not affected.

At the old office, and at home, they will successfully DHCP.

I've tried removing and reinstalling Virtual Network Services from the
host's network card.
I've run Newsid on the VPC, as well as renaming it and deleting the
MAC from the config file.

Any ideas why this works at one location but not another?
