I have successfully set-up and used a wide range of Microsoft operating
systems on both VPC2004 and now VPC2007, from DOS6.22 through Windows 98 to
Windows Vista Ultimate.

However I have never been able to successfully set-up Windows 95, the
current version I am working on, Win95c installs successfully, however when
it first re-starts it comes up with a "While initializing device IOS: Windows
protection error. You need to restart your computer.". I've researched this
error on MSDN and the Web but done of the fixes work on my installations.
Re-starting in Safe mode gives the same error. Logged says that all the
devices have loaded successfully.

I would be grateful for any help in getting Win95 to successfully install.

If your PC has Hardware Virtualization, turn it off for that
particular VM and see if that makes any difference.
