Dual boot, triple boot or VPC?

Hello All,

I have been using Vista Ultimate 32-bit without yet activating it. I would
prefer to use Vista Ultimate 64-bit; however, two (2) very important and
expensive pieces of software will not run and/or install on Vista 64. I am
wondering if VPC might be a plausible solution, or if dual or triple booting
might be better. Currently, I am dual booting XP Pro and Vista 32-bit.

Some of my game work better on Windows XP (such as Crimson Skies & Diablo
II), so I would like to be able to use Windows XP on my machine. XP also
transfers files much faster than Vista.

I have rearmed Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit twice, so I believe I can rearm
it once more before needing to activate it. Consequently, I need to decide
between Vista 64-bit and 32-bit in about 45 more days.

The two (2) 64-bit incompatible software titles are: (1) Dragon
NaturallySpeaking Pro v9.5 (this will not install on Vista 64-bit and
according to sources close to Dragon/Nuance say a 64-bit version of
NaturallySpeaking is not even contemplated at this point) and (2) Kofax VRS
Pro v4.2, which supposedly will not work in a 64-bit environment (I have not
tested). I use Dragon for dictating into Office Ultimate 2007 documents on a
daily basis.

I also have the need to use several USB devices, including high-speed
scanner, printers, external hard drive, etc. 64-bit device drivers are
available for all my hardware.

Would anyone recommend using VPC, or would it be better to purchase another
license for Vista Ultimate and triple boot, or would dual booting with Vista
64-bit and XP Pro 32-bit be the best/easiest way to go?

Thank you,
edsager
