Message:In the about dialog of VPC it says Version 6.0. I'm quite sure it is Virtual
PC 2007. Is Version 6.0 the version of my Host OS Vista?
In the help it talks about beeing Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.

Message:This is really awkward.
I have two XP licences (say a + b). I've installed WinXP (a) setup in a
guest session the first time within Virtual PC and I had network access and
it worked like a charm.
Realizing that I should have taken WinXP (b) I've removed the guest
installation (a) with the button 'Remove' and deleted the VMC and VHD file
from my harddisk.
Then I created a new guest session and installd (b). There I had no success
accessing the LAN. I've reinstalled (b) x-times with the same result: no
access to the LAN.
Now I've deleted the (b) installation and went back to (a) to see if (b) is
the problem. After installing (a) I face the same problem: No access to the
LAN!!
What on earth is going on?
+I've installed the Advanced package on every setup.
+I've made sure my DHCP server has cleared any traces of the guest setup.
+I've reinstalled VPC and cleaned the registry in between.
It seems to me that VPC or my host OS or my DHCP or .... has traces of the
previous installations? I've used different computer names for the guest
installations.
Is my host OS (Vista) playing tricks on me?
Anybody has any clue on what is going on? I really need this thing to work.
Thanks for any help!

Message:Guys
I could kick myself. The network card VPC was using was the wireless network
card and I've disabled the wireless network card on my host.
Changing it to my real network card everything works like a breez.
Sorry for using up your time!!
