VPN on XP Pro Guest with Vista Ultimate 64 host??

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

I just ordered tonight a new laptop with Vista Ultimate 64-bit but I don't
think my Nortel VPN client will work on Vista, will it?

If not, will I be able to install Virtual PC and then XP Pro as a guest and
then the VPN client?

Will XP Pro 32-bit work as a guest on Vista Ultimate 64-bit or will I need
to downgrade to Vista Ultimate 32-bit?

My VPN client is Nortel Contivity 6.02, which is the latest my employer has
released.

I need the VPN in order to do remote access to my office PC (which is
running XP Pro SP2) for LAN and Lotus Notes access and also 3270 mainframe
sessions.

Our Info Security department will not provide any support for employees
using VPN on their own PCs to access the network, I would need to use a
laptop provided by them.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
