VPC2007/WIN2003 NAT ??

I've installed win2003 R2 SP1 standard server on a VPC2007. And I'm having
problems with the networking setup - There are 3 option in the dropdown,
Local Only - probably not what I want
Intel Pro/100 VE... - Not a Physical card in this machine
Shared Networking (NAT) - WHAT IS THIS ??
What are the differences of each of these and where else can I find that answer
other then to post here?
ALSO - There is no REMOTE tab in the properties of "My computer" Is that not
available as a VPC, or did I miss something during install??

Must be the installed operating system. VPC is not interacting with
that in any other way than supplying emulated hardware. Maybe it is
