keyboard input stops to work

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

Hi,

I have the following problem in every VPC 2007 session with W2K running as
the guest (host is WinXP SP2): after starting W2K guest everything works
fine. After a longer period while a batch program is working and I come back
to the Virtual PC to go on my keyboard input is no longer recognized. The
mouse works, but no typing. This is a serious problem because in most cases I
cannot work on with the started process and must interrupt what I started.

It has nothing to do with screen saver which is disabled. It will function
properly (as long as it does) only after closing and restarting the VPC
console itself. Closing and restarting the Virtual PC guest is not enough.

Thanks for help,
Michael Steppes (Leipzig/Germany)
